Eric J. Ellinghaus, M.D. attended medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine. His residency training in Internal Medicine was completed at the University of Virginia. He completed sub-specialty training in Gastroenterology at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Ellinghaus is board-certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine.

Richard C. Golding, M.D., M.P.H. attended medical school at Temple University School of Medicine. His residency training in Internal Medicine was completed at George Washington University. He completed sub-specialty training in Gastroenterology at Boston University Medical Center/Boston City Hospital. He also received a Masters Degree in Public Health at Columbia University in New York City. Dr. Golding is board-certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine.

David L. Feit, M.D. attended medical school at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. His residency training in Internal Medicine was completed at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York city. He also completed sub-specialty training in Gastroenterology at Columbia Presbyterian in New York City. Dr. Feit is board-certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine.

David M. Felig, M.D. is a graduate of Yale University. He attended medical school at Northwestern University School of Medicine. His residency training in internal medicine was completed at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and New York Hospital Cornell Medical Center. He completed his sub-specialty training in Gastroenterology at Yale University. Dr. Felig is board-certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine.

Mark E. Tanchel, M.D. is a graduate of Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed his medical residency at Tufts-New England Medical Center. His gastroenterology fellowship was completed at the University of California at San Francisco Medical Center. Dr. Tanchel is board-certified in Gastroenterology.

Rosario J. Ligresti, M.D. is a graduate of New York Medical College. He completed his medical residency at Cornell Medical Center-New York Hospital and completed his gastroenterolgy fellowship at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. Dr. Ligresti has had advanced training in endoscopic ultrasound. Dr. Ligresti is board-certified in Gastroenterology.

Physician Assistant

Our practice is also proud to have an outstanding Physician Assistant, Ms. Gunjan Kumar, M.S., PA-C. Ms. Kumar graduated with a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Rutgers University, in association with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ, one of the top ranked Physician Assistant programs in the country. Ms. Kumar has worked since 1999 in the field of gastroenterology and hepatology. She has extensive experience in treating a variety of GI diseases, including inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome and hepatitis C. Ms. Kumar joined our practice in 2002.
